Meadowlands handles are head & shoulders above anywhere else in the U.S. They offer interviews, handicapping, and several gimmicks to entertain patrons at the track.I certainly don't agree with ALL of Gural's business practices. But anyone with half a brain can see how much more The Meadowlands tries to promote the sport than all of it's competitors COMBINED. Had New York contributed some of it's slot money into promotions, Yonkers racing would've been in a much better place.
Total Handle tonight: $2,790,769.00 ---------last year $1,920,413 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7o7LfnK9oMc
The handle should top $4 million tonight!
Total Handle $4,083,401.00
Wonder if week to week handle will drop 2 million dollars this week?
HANDLE OF LESS THAN 2 MILLION LAST NIGHT. AND THE JEWISH TRACK OWNER IS TALKING ABOUT ELIMINATING STEAKS RACING?PERHAPS HE COULD CHARGE A FEE OF $200-500 EACH TO ENTER AN OVERNITE AND ADD THAT TO THE PURSE, BETTORS LIKE TO BET MORE WHEN HORSE OWNERS ARE PAYING TO RACE
