If you're a citizen, it's a right. Try reading the constitution just once.

If you were born here it's your birth right, many consider it a privilege also, some don't especially if they are the victims of a society who forgot that most of our ancestors came through Ellis Island.  Many may have walked across northern and southern borders that weren't all that protected a few generations ago.  The Irish came to Boston to escape a potato famine, Two million Italians came between 1900-1910 to escape poverty in Southern Italy and Sicily (today the 5th largest immigrant group), many came to escape the ravages of war.  South Florida today couldn't be with out the Guatemalans who landscape, work the farms, and other jobs Americans find beneath them. Donal Trump would only have been married to Marla Maples if his immigrant wives were not allowed.  To most immigrants "it's a privilege", America with all it's flaws (and we sure have them) offers more opportunity than most countries.  The Scandinavians, Germans, Danish and a few others think there system is better but for most, at least for now, think America is the best.  It's too bad many have forgotten with privilege and rights come "responsibilities".  A responsibility to vote, speak up and make it better for the majority not the chosen few.  Neither Democrats or Republicans do a good job in that regard.
