Seen the horse every start at Cal-Expo. Do you read a program? Horse races off the pace rather well. Look at the lines where it brushes--always backs up.

Unless the trainer told you to brush, no idea why you did. It's a one move horse and that move needs to be in the stretch. Might've gotten live cover and paced home for a top 3 finish late in that field. If it was trainer's instruction to brush to top then I apologize. Some how I doubt that though as nearly every good finish on Cantholdmebackmac k has been from off the pace. Also, if you realize the horse might be a little short from a long trip, as you mention just got in town, why not give it an easier trip?  I used you in the pick 4 and thought you had a real shot at your first win back bud, but that was not a good drive. When I make a shit bet (it happens often) I look at how I can improve. Do you not watch replays and try to figure out what to do better next time? Also, Hernandez isn't a bad driver so it's too much of an insult to say he's better than you

Didn't offend me. What I always liked about Smolin when I bet Chicago more years ago is he used to race like he wanted to win most of the time. I'm sure he thought too he was on a live one and is pissed he didn't win. Since I knew he posts on here, I wanted to know the thought process on the drive since the horse doesn't do well brushing.

Thanks for the reply hopefully it will help get people to the windows.Their is always a reason why a horse doesn't race as well as it should.99 out of 100 times has nothing to do with driver.
