Bill has had some descent years lately. Never was much of a driver but seemed to do well as a trainer last several years. RIP

OMG this is so sad Jim was one helluva guy and very well thought of around Midwest.  I put him up toward the top of the list with the late Chip Noble.  RIP

RIP.  Great horseman.  Was this sudden or a prolonged illness?

Very Sudden.
It often doesn’t make sense to us and is sometimes very tough to understand but God has a plan.  Condolences to his family and friends.

RIP Bill Dailey. You were truly a good friend and will be missed dearly. Whether you were driving for me many moons ago, training one for me, or just spending time talking at a fair, a yearling sale or in the raceway paddock, it was always my pleasure. You were the ultimate professional and treated everyone with the respect they deserved. Never will I go to a racetrack without thinking if you. See you on the other side!
