Very sad news! But, what may be worse is what it says about our society when we care more about horses than people. It is very tragic but to suggest that it should have been Dean instead of the horses is just sick. For as much of a distasteful person he may be as a horseman, he still has a family, a wife and daughter who love him and rely on him. And how about any concern for the grooms who nearly lost their lives trying to save these horses?!?
