These sure are different times were in.........god bless us all.
the heat is no excuse to not race, the left's sissification of the USA continues
Can't help but think today's dynamic of racing being a financial burden to the tracks as opposed to a revenue generator is the real reason. There were hundreds of days in the upper 90's before slots, never a cancelation for heat.
Spermmy, I am in no way advocating animal cruelty. This is what is implied if I don't agree cancelation of races when temps or conditions reach extreems. What I am saying without equivocation is, before slots, racing was never canceled for these conditions. Now, as a man who has 40 years experience racing NY County Fairs, often for a purse of hundreds of dollars, did they ever cancel? Did your horses suffer? No, prolly because they were properly conditioned and you did everything you could to cool them out and make them as comfortable as possible. Good to trade thoughts with you as always, Sperm.
Judges at Tioga are giving the horsemen the option of scratching without penalty
Heat INDEX of 110 Not actual temperature! Guess these pussies weren't alive in the late 70's when 100 actual temp was common. Nobody ever cancelled any races or cried about it to their momma or made bullshit excuses. You would think these stupid mother fuckers have never worked on a farm. If you are that fucking fat and can't stand the heat LOSE SOME FUCKING WEIGHT OR GET ANOTHER JOB!
These guys in plop will still complainThey don’t understand these are love animals not race cars
