what age is the horse
if a filly/mare does it have broodmare potential
what classes does it fit and for how long and how much money can they make before moving up
also depending on its age are there any stakes races it is eligible for
do you think your trainer can improve on the prior trainer
as with most things you make the money buying  cheap and then selling at the right time
