Yonkers Race Caller
« on: August 23, 2018, 02:52:31 PM »
John Hernan at Yonkers has done a fine job over the years. What impresses me most is John's call of the recent French Trotting Club races. I know the International Trot was challenging with many entries having names in a different language and, John mastered that. But, with 12 horses all with tongue twisting french names, you got to give it to this guy. He could blow a few calls and I would never know it but, I don't think that is the case.
Congratulations to an outstanding effort and an amazing result.

Good announcer but his voice sounds like he’s calling a race from the 1960s

  • MTP1972: Burke had him as a 2 year old, I think he won his first 6 or 7 starts, some in PASS, then he tailed off and may have only won once as a 3 year old while still in Burke's stable.
