16% percent a gold mine for Freehold hell there average purse distribution is 30k a day. They will last awhile with a few mil.

 Why have any wagering at all? Just gives horsemen a chance to get money, by cheating , from customers. 
  Race at 10am ,distribute the cash and take the afternoons off, The actual racing costs more than it brings in.

The 16% is of the harness share. If it were split 50/50 giving harness $10 million, that gives Freehold $1,600,000 for purses. If they raced 100 days a year, it would about double the present purse structure.

Exactly , they actually race less than that and they would see a nice bump in purses you would hope , at least to 4k a race so they can feed the horses and pay the grooms.
