If you have 1 chance in 8, then the odds are 7-1.Just like if you have 1 chance in 2 (coin flip), your odds are 1-1, not 2-1.
Last week it was a 1/6 to draw the rail, and this week a 1/8. So wouldn't it be a 1/48 chance, would that be 5-1 x 7-1 or 35-1 odds?
It does not matter the week before It has nothing to do with it 8 horse field you have 12.5% chance to draw any position The next week you have the same 12.5% chance it’s not 1/64 l
Sorella should eat an occasional salad, get some exercise and stop crying. When did everyone in harness racing get obese?
They change things to get the best horses in the big races and then supplemental entries complain about post positions draws. They want to sit on the sidelines and just pay up to get in for the big bucks. Why not allow for PP draws for winning elmination horses if the horse was paid into stake all the way. If supplemental you draw for remaining PP.The supplemental payment is much like buying a stock the last day before divivend payment , grabbing dividend and then selling the next day.
THATS idiotic HOW ABOUT U WIN AN ELIM U PICK POSTOR IS THAT TO HARD,,
your missing an important point was the elimination a open draw.. of course so by bad luck some horse drew the 6,7,8 holebut they make it to the final finishing third or fourthso they automatically only get to draw for the outside againall races including finals should be an open draw( all based on luck)otherwise a horse that gets a good draw in the elimination is potentially rewarded twice for the good drawas bill robinson said about posts, if you are that worried about the post, maybe your horse is not as good as you think he is as for not trying in the elimination, fine, drivers can take their chances , as for gamblers don't bet them , there is hundreds of other races every day , bet the finals
