My experience is quite different. Yes, The Magic Man laid all over average drivers at Saratoga in the late 1980's. But, when he got to Roosevelt and The Meadowlands he was truly a gifted pilot. I saw many time a first time Bill O'D. up finnish 2 or 3rd at 30:1. Next week jog at 5:2. At he Meadowlands he was dig dong, head to head with Campbell for years.
I respect your opinion but I remember him driving mainly against out of shape middle aged to old guys that probably could not walk and chew gum at the same time.
r u outta ur fuckin mind ? how about herve fillion, shelly goodreau, lew Williams, greg wright, ray remmen and on and on and on.yonkers, the meadowlands and Roosevelt were the mecca. the names were like the grand circuit every night. stop with ur nonsense.
Greg Wright and ray remmen are you kidding me? Please stop. I suppose we should throw Mickey mcnickol and Donald dancer in there that group of great drivers too
