Trainer DAN ATER is hereby issued a warning for violation of Ohio State Racing Commission Rule 3769-18.01(A)(2), 3769-18- 01(B)(1),3769-18-01(B)(15-16-17),3769-18-02 & 3769-18-99. Blood Sample #825298 tested by the Analytical Toxicology Laboratory at the Ohio Department of Agriculture on August 6, 2018 revealed a presence of Cobalt. The Cobalt concentration in the blood sample was determined to be at 27.8 + 0.2(ppb) of plasma. This exceeds the regulatory threshold of 25 parts per billion adopted by the OSRC.WARNING ISSUEDThis is what’s wrong with Ohio harness racing!

.2 over the limit. That is likely within margin of error. I only take exception to the inference as Ater racked up a single digit win percentage at Scioto. Obviously not the results the known 'cheaters' reach for.
If he indeed used cobalt on a horse he is a true 100 pct pos.
His horse tested positive above levels, that's a pretty sure sign he uses cobalt.
