Horse had a hip replacement?
You all know theres Cobalt in horse feed, right? ,
It's a trace element. A horse would probably have to eat like 20 pounds of hay to raise its cobalt levels.
nothats titanium cobalt is widely used for batteryit doesnt conduct electric and is a great shellits in high demand
exactlythere is some naturally in the feed but not nearly close to the threshold
Dan is one of the poster boys in Ohio.
WAIT A MINUTE !!! This guy has been in the business for 40 years. He's a well respected horseman, as some of you point out. Slow down the accusations - if he decided to go to the dark side - he'd be light years ahead of these half-ass cheaters. All of us know that these unscrupulous trainers that trampoline a horse after a week are the real scoundrels. So, knock it off !
Not 'naturally', it's listed as a ingredient on the bag, that means it was put in the feed mixture manualy, and who gets to dictate what a horses 'threshold' is? They are all different, one can be dehydrated , and another not, everything in the 'feed' can effect each horse differently.
There's no reason to have cobalt supplemented in a diet unless the horse is B12 deficient so why is it even in the feed at all?
