Why Is Lazarus In Hiding?
« on: September 26, 2018, 12:28:27 PM »
Coming off his cupcake trip win at Hoosier and just two weeks after Takter said he needed more racing, why isn't he cross-entered at Mohawk for this week?

He drew AE for the Dayton race.

But if more racing is what he needs, why wasn't he entered anywhere else?

Bad management?  Or a built in excuse if he maintains his mediocrity at Lexington?

He's hiding him because he is a common animal

Hiding?  Isn't he AE for the pacing derby?

What happens if he does not draw in?

Remember, Takter said he needed more racing.

WONT LOSE A NICKLE IF HE WATCHES FROM THE SIDELINES OCCASIONALLY.
IF HE'S SO GREAT, HE STAYS RACE TIGHT tmbz1

OR HAVE WE ALREADY TOSSED THE "HE'S LAZY ON THE FRONT SO HE NEEDS WORK TO FOCUS" ANCHOR YET?

I think we need some trax to card mile and a half races to see just how good American horses are when asked to step out of their element and give world record performances

I’m confused with this statement.  Clearly this horse is an amazing animal but if he is use to racing a mile & half and now racing a mile why would this affect him in a negative way?  I can see if a horse is use to race a mile and then goes to a mile and 1/2 and struggles.  Are you tryingvtobsaybheb needs the extra 1/2 mile to get going

Then why don't you see Usain Bolt running a mile? American racing has turned into a mile sprint, endurance is his strong suitm Americans race as if glued to the hubless rail, foreigners  add endurance to the mix, park over half of the contest, makes for a much better product

He's run 4x in the lasst 5 months.  How tired can he be?

His last possible start is 5 weeks away.

Is there a stake race at Mohawk? I’m sure they have not interest in racing in a preferred up there. I agree he does need to race to really see what he can do.

He doesn’t look like much at all so far.  Nice horse but nothing really special yet.  Certainly not living up to all the hype at this point of his US campaign. He’s made a lot of money since being here but has been all out at the wire several times in very reasonable fractions.
