  PcD on 6/12/2018 FINED: $5,000 FULL - 90 DAYS, 12/1/2018 THRU 2/28/2019   POSSESSION OF HYPODERMIC NEEDLES, SYRINGES AND/OR INJECTABLE AND/OR OTHER DRUGS
  PA Code 58-183.362 .336 During a vehicle search on 6/12/18 on the backstretch at Pocono Downs Mr. Faurot`s vehicle was found to have several syringes(27)which were improperly marked. There were also 4 injectable bottles. Mr Faurot is fined $10,000.00 and suspended for 365 days starting on 6/28/18. Mr. Faurot was also racing with a conditional license which states that if he violates any terms or conditions of the agreement, his license may be suspended or revoked. As of 6/28/18 his PA license is revoked. During this suspension he and all horses owned and trained by him are barred from all grounds under the jurisdiction of The State Horse Racing Commission. Also during this time he may not transfer any horses owned or trained by him without the approval of the judges at Pocono Downs or The State Horse Racing Commission. He can appeal this decision in writing within 10 days of notice of this decision as set forth in PA Code 58-183.404(a). The address for an appeal is:2301 N. Cameron St.
  Status as of 10/25/2018 - Subsequent Ruling - Ruling #18056C Pursuant to an agreement between the State Horse Racing Commission, Bureau of Standardbred Horse Racing and Clayton Faurot Jr., and in consideration of the withdrawal of his appeal of the Pocono Downs Board of Judges Ruling No. 18053PD, the ruling is hereby modified as follows: Mr. Faurot will pay a fine of $5,000.00 which is due no later than February 28, 2019. Mr. Faurot will also serve a 90-day suspension beginning December 1, 2018 through and including February 28, 2019.


So he didn't appeal and "in considerartion" of not doing so we knock your fine from 10k to 5k.....

the BIG fetanyl charge from 3 mos ago -- pretty much became a couple hundred bucks and no time.  So, you dumbshits are dreaming if you think that there's really any enforcement.    Fact is, when you see a cheater's name in the program -- it just means everybody else is racing for 2nd  or   3rd.  If you can't bet w/ that handicapping info., then just enjoy watching the races and seeing the horses eating special oats revving up down the stretch.

This is BS there should be no penalty whatsoever. Only flair way is a free for all. Fair to the horses? Of course not but it’s happening everywhere and all the time. Only crime was getting caught. I like people who don’t get caught.

Im all for penalties--but the way the system works-the rich and powerful carry on like little happens-just write the legal bills off their taxes--while the poor and less powerful little guy-gets hung by the balls-Scapegoats.
Ive seen a little guy get 12 months-while a leading trainer 0--for exactly the same infraction.
System needs a complete overhaul.

Hell-at The Meadowlands-all that would have to happen in Bryce Cote whispering In Gurals ear-that he shouldnt let someone race-and they are banned!!
Why?? Generally its because the little guy took days as he could not afford the legal battles-while the leading stable beats them and has a squeaky clean record despite the fact-he did exactly the same thing as the little guy maybe even worse.
Whole system is unconstitutional and fucked.

There are more little guys than big guys.  Sadly, most of them little guys are so intimidated that they try to compete - knowing they are racing for a slim envelope, not the HD Win purse.  AND, they're not necessarily in fear of the big guys, they're worried the secretary will brand them as malcontent if they make a peep and find a reason to squeeze them off the cards.
