Ex not a bad payoff 2 Nd and 3 rd choice.  Tri not bad either.   Super little short but only 8 k in pool.  I wouldn’t call this by any means short just I seen owner play 20 supers so I can see a low pay off

  My bad - I just quickly glanced at my platform and didn't realize the payoff of @$16 was for a $1. I thought the payoff should be  @ $30 so I agree. Just my negligance.

This one I'll give you. I'd have expected @ $50 for a deuce. At these smaller tracks though it's easy for one bettor to eschew the payoffs. If somebody bets a $30 or $40 straight exacta   it can throw these off. And with real small pools - say buffalo, Vernon, saratoga a $10 straight exacta can put a hurt on the payoffs.

Funny I never hear anyone complain when the payoff is high.

I also agree with Meadowlands Kings comments regarding race fixing being exaggerated. My opinion is it goes on and is more likely  at smaller tracks with lower purses. But as someone who's spent way too many hours in otbs - I agree some of the complaining is just bitter gamblers. Juicing on the other hand imo is rampant.

I'm not sure how others calculate these in their heads. I do it more off experience. I've been given over the yrs a few formulas and why they occasionally worked they really didn't seem reliable to me. So I canned them.

The 12th exacta seems a little on the low end of where I would estimate. It is a Ronnie Wrenn horse on top that though. If I had that exacta for $2 I'd have thought I would get $75. But the payoff doesn't seem way out of whack to me. Just my opinion. I've listened to a lot of folks dispute these over the yrs and imo people usually project the high end of where the payout will be. Just an opinion though- I know people have strong feelings on payouts and I respect that.
