At these smaller tracks though it's easy for one bettor to eschew the payoffs. If somebody bets a $30 or $40 straight exacta it can throw these off. And with real small pools - say buffalo, Vernon, saratoga a $10 straight exacta can put a hurt on the payoffs.Funny I never hear anyone complain when the payoff is high.I also agree with Meadowlands Kings comments regarding race fixing being exaggerated. My opinion is it goes on and is more likely at smaller tracks with lower purses. But as someone who's spent way too many hours in otbs - I agree some of the complaining is just bitter gamblers. Juicing on the other hand imo is rampant.
