Philadelphia slightly.

Drf has Philly 156.2 2/5
Northfield 156.2 4/5

Thanks for all the good input. Anyone with any real word speed experience that sent one from nfld from Philadelphia?

I'll disagree slightly and say Harrahs is marginally slower than Northfield, depending on time of year. I've never seen low end claimers routinely hit 50-51 at Harrahs compared to the regularity in which it happens at Northfield. Race flow and style definitely has something to do with it but I still think Northfield carries faster times.

This is probably accurate and  given that it's a 5/8ths vs. 1/2 comparison that would make me give the edge to Northfield.

I've raced at both and several other tracks. Northfield is one on the fastest tracks there is. It is a speed bowl. the the turns are banked and speed carries like no other track. Harrahs can be very tiring depending on the weather and how much moisture is in the track. And northfield drivers race like its their last race of their life. If you flipped drivers between northfield and harrahs, harrahs would have 47 and 48 miles and northfield would turn into Yonkers jr... just the way they drive is the ONLY reason.

lol, yep, I definitely will. That was the reason for this thread, just to get an idea if I went through with purchase. Hoping to just keep her competitive. Coming from a good trainer I respect with alot of experience and ability so these kind I'm happy to just keep going close to the same and make a little return.

Didnt look like that was a fair race to judge her.

Really didn't race well, but I agree. Severely outclassed in the race, then track conditions made it difficult to close and gain ground. Got away 7/10, pulled to cover, cover carried only to horse in 3rd and quit, backed through field, and obviously this mare was unable to pull and go 3 wide with any momentum and finished last.

Pretty disappointed, but it was also the worst night I've ever had racing in my life so chalk it up to a bad night with nothing going right.
