Also remember your in IL and to demo a piece of property will be union, building a new track and grandstand will be union, having a staff and racing employees will be all union wages. Then having to shell 10 or 12% to the horse purse. Yeah don't see that pipe dream. The big issue comes 2021 will no alternatives and a fight for dates. IL racing is a fucking laughing stock and it only gets worse. Names won't be mentioned nor the place but one IHHA member of status guarantee the coming out articles a few days ago would be a no there there. 4 days later in laughter the whole dam thing is DOA in Tinley. So Cigar don't want to dampen your hopes but sometimes logic needs to prevail.

Almost forgot your have two full fledged casino 15 and 20 miles west in Joliet. You will have another full fledged casino in the South Suburbs that will be 15 or so to the east of SE. You tell me if there is a suitor to dish out hundreds of millions for a start up racino in a saturated area. Yeah don't worry those in the city a half hour away will have a Chicago casino along with Hawthorne. But if it makes you feel better I'll give you a few months. Usual grieving period anyway.

Part of the problem is the new Generation aswell!!! There into quick payouts an pushing machines!!!! I loved taking road trips with my father when i was younger goin to diff tracks it was a great time!!! Now dont get me wrong the young crowd still shows up an throws a party for the big primetime races but who's really betting onsite anymore on a tue nite with a non winners of 2!!!! Just doesn't have the same feel and excitement as it once did!!!! And that goes for East midwest all harness and some Tbreds!!!! And i truly hate to see this sport die out because it truly is fun and exciting especially watching your own horse win a race!!!

Why is it a great location? It's in the middle of nowhere as the largest town to the south Kankakee is near the bottom of IL property towns. To the north will be a full fledged casino and Tinley/Orland/Mokena/Frankfort well two Joliet casinos are just as close. Balmoral, I think is still under a court rule for a time period of years were they can't have par mural wagering. Yes barns and paddocks refinished but to say a great location. I think not.

Crete is just minutes from Tinley Park and even when Balmoral was a shithole it had a decent handle.  A RACINO OPEN 24 7 IN AN AREA FILLED WITH FACTORIES AND VERY LITTLE COMPETITION FOR GAMING $$$$
ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN BECAUSE IT IS ILLINOIS AND MAKES TO MUCH SENSE .
