Thanks for reading. We had a blast owning. Ours raced for purses of about $3k. A $20 win ticket at 3/1 doubled a driver's earnings on a winner. No one ever complained or took off for that reason. It's hard to understand, I know. When you were a groom 35 years ago how much were people betting for you?
REMEMBER TO ASK THE TRAINER BEFORE YOU TIP
I know far more about this than you ever did or ever will. Trust me on this. How much did you say you made a week as a groom 35 years ago?
I can't speak for Fatboy but if I remember correctly I think I made somewhere between $35-$50 per week per horse back in 1977 when I started. Made extra on paddocks. I was broke but enjoyed myself..LOL
Good story Ed Grooms hardest workin guys at the barn for the most part
Were you ever insulted like Fatboy when an owner made a $25 win bet for you back in the mid-late 80's?
I TRUST YOU WANT US TO KNOW HOW SMART YOU THINK YOU ARE AND HOW MUCH ARE YOU MAKING ON WALL STREET AGAIN? HOWS THE HOUSE IN MARTHAS VINEYARD DOING? SO I WORKED AT THE TRACK...YOU NEVER DID, JUST WANT TO ACT LIKE YOU KNOW ALL ABOUT IT WE CAN READ....
