Coronavirus, though related to the common cold, is a new virus.  So no one has immunity to it.  That’s problem number one.  The virus is now spreading throughout Through respiratory secretions and is 10 times more contagious than the flu or common cold.  Although many people will recover, an estimated 15-20% will develop a pneumonia and require hospitalization.  Some will become so ill from pneumonia they will die.  The estimate is 2-3%, however in Italy the system was so overwhelmed that for those over the age of 70 (probably 70% of those on this site) the death rate is 8% or higher.  The second issue isnon symptomatic  or symptomatic people spreading the disease.  Scientists measure the spread of a disease by a number R0, pronounced “R naught”, for Covid-19 it is three.  So 1 person infects 3, 3 becomes 9, 9 becomes 27, 27 -81 and so on.  By the time you hit the 15th step it’s over 14 million people.  R0 isn’t fixed, control measures can lower it, when it becomes less than one it dies out.  Posting it’s not a problem, compounds the problem.  Laugh if you want, this could be worse if people don’t take it serious.

There are currently 5800 cases in the USA.
That isn't hospitalized, that is total cases.
With all the measures taken by the WH and individual States, there is no reason that at this rate, this virus is going to be anything but a moderate flu in the USA.

You heard it here.    Absolutely no expert, but simply putting together the information available. 
People need to relax.   Stay away from work if at all possible.   Be responsible if you have to be at work.

This will have passed by the end of April and all that will be left is the market's recovery back to January 2020 levels.
