Hey Jeff likes being the modern day Moses . We are his followers but there was only one Moses . Sorry Jeff

Did ohio racetracks tell us they are opening even though its not in their best financial interest? doubt it, it  sounds obnoxious

Cuomo would be smarter than Trump if he was in a coma

Jeffrey is telling you quite simply the track will be operating in the red, while you race and draw down your purse account.  It is just some truthful thought that others (track owners), choose to ignore.  Running races fir purse money is what this business is all about. We get that. Having no real way to fund that account is troublesome. How long can you draw down before you are broke?

There is the slot money sitting there at Tioga from the time racing ended last September until the casino closed in March.
That’s 6 months worth.

That would make perfect sense if you raced all year round.  But, the formula is for year round funding and 100 days of distribution.

Ohio has some slot money reserve that's responsible for most of the purse.

Agree. But is it in their best financial interest to resume racing, distribute that money and not have the casino open to replenish the kitty? No. And they didn't obnoxiously say it like Gural.
