Before you even start adding all those things in mentioned above here is a fractional ownership nightmare that doesn't work in the favor of a small owner. Take example A..a three year with 8 starts and 10k made. Couldn't compete in Ont which needed a license. Then to IL. Then to OH. Then to its state jurisdiction NJ for a stake race and if 1st time owner along with license you need finger prints. 1 stake race and done. Off to PA where you need a 3yr license and that's 120. So that 10k minus 10% your at 9000.00 at 5% your take is 450. Yet to race over those 5 jurisdiction is roughly 350.00. Add in it wasn't free to get to those tracks you have transport cost so your in the hole even with 10k on the card and still haven't added a dime from everything mentioned above. Not a fault of the stable just part of the system rigged against small owners of a fractional outfit.
the travel schedule for the horse noted would be fine and expected for a grand circuit horse not for an overnight horse who has made $10 k
Stable.Ca made some very astute purchases, look for a big year from TheStable this year. I'd say get in now while you can.
Horses first? What do you have about the stable that you are so against it?The stable bought 17/18 horses cheap so what, he looked for value that’s been done before. You seem to just want to bash the concept? Who cares he buys horses and people buy shares, that’s the concept so they don’t all make $$$$$$$ so what, entertainment only he tells you that! Once in awhile one makes good e.g. swandre. At least he buys horses, you can’t race them unless you buy them and they don’t know what they cost. Some of the best were bought on the cheap end. He runs a stable that some people enjoy being part of, if they didn’t they wouldn’t buy shares but they do.
