Why do people rip Gural. He isn't obligated to pay for purses out of own pocket but he does. He is a business man just like everyone else. McDonalds doesn't give away burgers. Walmart doesn't let you leave the store without paying and yet there are a bunch of whiners who criticize him because he doesn't fund harness racing and the dysfunction it possesses.

Mr Pigland you and I have discussed this issue quite a bit in the past. So I ask the question again, not to you but other posters, which came first "Goooofffrrrraaaal llllll's love affair with casinos" or his "luv of whorse racing".  His record is quite clear, before Vernon was bought from bankruptcy, he DEMANDED the Casino at Vernon, no question. When Mr Gooooffffrrrraaaa llllll wanted Tioga to be built, which came first "the casino deal" or "the track". And of course the casino was a prerequisite DEMAND for both Vernon and Tioga, NO QUESTION.

So when Mr Goooooffffrrrrrra aallllll was in "Savoir" mode it wasn't about whorse racing, it was about HIS CASINO at Pinky Downs. One should remember all the plans drawn up, all the pomp and circumstance about the Knew PIG M Casino.

Much like DJT, Gooooofffrrrrraaa aalllllll thinks the world revolves around him. Without these 2 dumb fucks where would the world be right now. We hear it day in, day out. His love of horse racing has been around a LOT longer than the possibility of slots has been a factor in this industry. He is an astute business man. Why not try to combine something you love with an option to make money (lots of it!) doing it? Seems like a natural if you're smart enough and have the means and knowledge to do so. Once again, no one else stepped up to do so when given a chance, nor has anyone else even tried successfully to do what he is doing anywhere else given his situation. He also was able to to open a sportsbook that outhandles VEGAS! The guy is a financial Genius and a patient one at that. Quit being so Jelly and turn the page on this, or you will continue to look like a fool!
