Not only do they not pay their bills to the simulcast facilities..
but in the race they just ran..here are the teletimer posts for
the 1/4 and the 1/2 :
1/4 39:2
1/2 1:08:1
Very Good
The announcer sounds like he really doesn't want to be there
at all.
What has happened to Chicago Racing?
Is this it?

the tote board hasn't worked right in at least 6 or 7 years - when they put the inquiry sign up - the dead heat sign comes on as well - its been like that for years...multiple light bulbs are out and never get replaced - there's times you cant even read which numbers are lit up on the tote board...
the tv's inside the track are from the 1980s...most of the sam machines are older than that...theyre from the very first batch of sam machines they bought when sam machines came into existence...and the tellers?? the only union tellers that get on there are the ones with 45 yrs plus seniority...
galassi is toward the end of his career - makes some mistakes every night accuracy-wise, but he's the least of their problems...he's earned his stripes and deserves to finish his career on his terms...
tim carey is overmatched when it comes to running the business - his crew couldn't care less about growing the handle etc. their betting menu sucks..they started a $2 pick 6 this year - never got hit until tonight - has carried over the entire meet and the pool grew to 4k....think they noticed for example Scioto 20 cent pick 6? they do $4k in a night - and if the pick 6 misses, Scioto guarantees 15k the next night...what do we get? a $2 pk6...lol...
carey will eventually sell to a casino outfit and cash out big...hopefully whoever buys them will get some new tvs...

Chicago has the potential to be a great track. Unfortunately they run the tracks like the leaders run city. Selfish pricks with no motivation to put out a top product, only line their pockets and pride themselves on being a sanctuary city. No top operations and ownership team will ever target the market, it a fucking circle jerk in politics and payoffs. If you wrote down a scenario of how corrupt and fucked up leadership, budgets, and planning could possibly be, times that by 100 and you will get an idea of why ‘this’ city will continue its downward spiral into a financial disaster.

why not beg Gural to take over ..or buy the place...
If anyone can turn the place around he can.
What he did with The meadowlands was amazing.
and the fucking degens and junior high school crack whores
that are always knocking the guy should see a shrink and then
collect their welfare checks.
what a bunch of worthless vermin to knock a guy that saved
the best track in Harness Racing.
and then they have the balls to complain he wants to make money?
I guess they cannot understand ambition...as they sit at mom's house
eating spam...50 -60 yr old guys collecting an allowance.
I freaking joke

Have their lost their fanbase?
Run out of money?
lost the good drivers and horses?
what the hell happened?
all the midwest track basically SHUT DOWN.
Hazel Park
Sportsmans was an excellent track
Maywood
Balmoral
Saginaw
Sports CReek
Northville all but gone a mere shell with busted plumbing

I cannot understand what has happened to Midwest Racing?
Let me see if I can break this down for you.
1. Whoresmen
2. Greedy, incompetent, moronic, and sometimes criminal management
3. Racing officials who get paid to jerk off and do nothing.
I hope this was informative.
Sincerely, Silent One

Dont forget that illinois racing is the last to get the casino money so all the top drivers were gone 15 years ago because of it!!!!! Illinois an big m were always top notch racing i remember when we would send horses out east snd dominate!!! But until we get the casino money rolling this place id the new hazel park!! Breeding program has absolutely fell to the bottom an why would you breed in ill when u can go 45 miles east drop a foal an run fir way more!!!! Now trust my im not an indiana racing fan nor do i think there anything special but until purses increase sn we get a track to run harness horses better then hawthorne we get what we get!!! Its a shame the tinley park project was shut down due to mob “allegation ties” didnt like were it was being built but that was the start of what could have been somthin huge!!! I doubt will ever get back to the grand days of supernites at sportsmans not balmoral but hopefully we can get close to that but working with politicians in this state i know hurdles that need to be jumped might end up just ruining the sport in this state!!!!!

Bro not worried just stating the fact hes bad an announcers are apart of racing they let u know whats goin on keep u intuned an make it enjoyable which he does neither but since u used the eord “dork” i shouldnt argue with a 12 yr
