The Indiana Horse Racing Commission met yesterday (Oct 1, 2020) and the first item published on the agenda was "Settlement Agreement between Indiana Horse Racing Commission Staff and Shane Bowermaster"As I understand it (I did NOT attend the meeting) the agreement calls for Shane Bowermaster to serve the remainder of his 15 day suspension and then he must continue to have his horses on the grounds of Hoosier Park in the morning on the day of any race he is in.At the meeting, Joe Morris of Eldorado indicated that Hoosier Park will rehab a barn for next year to include video cameras in individual stalls. It won't be cheap. I believe certain select trainers will be required to stable on track.I repeat, I am only repeating information I have received from folks I trust, but please don't take this as gospel until it comes out in some sort of official ruling or when minutes of the meeting are released to the public. I personally found the news very encouraging.
