I have never seen this before but I imagine it may happen a lot with computers and hacking and viruses. Does this happen frequently? I mean once a year , once every five years? I have been following harness racing for over 25 and have never seen it, but I do not check every track every day.

It happened a couple years ago in Ohio.  Reason for that was that they didn't get the windows closed and therefore had to void any payouts.  Not sure if that is the case here.

It has happened a bunch of times over the years. In the early 90's at Freehold they made official and paid out the wrong number. People were picking up losing tickets and cashing big for a few minutes before they realized the mistake. They corrected the mistake and then made the correct numbers official. Tote took the loss for this. That was way before adw's destroyed the industry. Once decoupling happens, and it will happen, things will be right where they belong.
