good for the horsemen, december racing. not helping promote maine racing. no food. no drink. no heat. grandstand filled with boats. wish it were more public friendly. never thought id live to see 12 people at a track. even the old downs did better. i guess this is the end.
I have to disagree with my friend yogi. The cumberland people did what they said they would do. They kept maine racing alive and they built the handle with on line wagering - but i dont see the guy building a track without sports gambling or a casino or both. Three years and still know location of where track will be built?
