I am simply stunned that the United States Trainwreck Association has not reported anything about this. The supposed number one misinformati... oops I meant media site on harness racing, has nothing to report on the biggest rat in the so-called sport?

How could that surprise you? They have an ABUSE TIP LINE that is responded to by a trainer who is on video KILLING horses! USTA is nothing more than a horsemen funded good old boys club! They allow some guys to race without being a member or licensed for years,while other are hounded until they renew their credentials! The direction this organization is strait down. They do just enough to be sure that they will be able to collect the fat salaries and perks until they die! They are the harness-racing version of the KKK, if you don't believe that then just go sit in the parking lot at closing time when the employees exit

A lot of ploppers are asking basically what took so long to get this kid. Well it is pretty obvious to me that this situation is very similar to major league baseball during the heavy steroid era. Baseball under Bud Selig knew exactly what was going on and did next to nothing. Managers like Tony LaRussa had McGuire and Canseco that suddenly grew new, larger bodies but he denied ever knowing anything. It is unbelievable that baseball put Selig an LaRussa in the HOF. It was only until our U.S. Senate told bb to clean their problem or they would. So here harness racing has the USTA the biggest do nothing organization. Talk about turning a blind eye to all the druggists that we call trainers. The sport of harness racing is failing now for many years. Forget blaming the casinos, home computer betting, lotteries or OTB. The fans went away in droves because the sport is crooked, pure and simple. Although I applaud Jeff Gural for trying to right the ship it is unfortunately too late. Harness racing will go down just as greyhound racing and jai alai did. Cheating, drugging and little to no efforts to fix all this needed to be done many years ago but wasn’t. End of story.

Great post. But surrick was definitely working in cahoots with Andy, Julie and Erv and took the fall for all of them. Unless they nail Andy, Julie and Erv at a later time they got away with defrauding the public and horse killings.

If you recall, Little Nicky blew his credibility as a witness and the judge rewarded him with a lengthy bid. I don't know what has been happening since then. If I was to guess, he is working with the FBI to rebuild credibility so some indictments can move forward.
 Or, maybe he waiting for the FEDs to complete the shower room renovations. They were open rooms with 20-30 shower heads. Now, individual stalls for privacy.
 Sooner or later, he will be trading his loafers for Government issued khakis and shower shoes.
