No food
Except stale hot dogs and chips and old cold roast beef

Disgusting turn out for opening night

Racing though was pretty good

Puke Parc,  The place was far from empty.  The sport bar area was about half full and the other open area was close to full. There weren't many empty seats. Outside, all of the tables and seats were pretty much all taken.  I don't know what you were looking at.  Just because you don't own any Illinois breds is no reason for you to paint an uglier picture than it really is.  Why were you even there?  You don't' give a flying crap about Illinois racing.

I raced at Hawthorne in 1982. Not a pleasant experience. But I won the race and shipped out the following morning.
