He also said he was sorry
Methadone is a schedule 2 opioid. It would be appropriate for DEA to inquire as to how it wound up on the grounds of the Meadows racetrack and Casino. For that matter, who prescribed it should also be investigated.
Was suspended 180 days and $5,000 fine for ...Methadone - Class 1He dropped his appeal .... In consideration, his suspension reduced to 15 days and $1,500 fine. 15 Days For Methadone. Methadone seemed to agree well with the horse, I Saw You Blink, who won the race on January 5th at Meadows, circling 3/4 of the field while first up at 16/1. Owner - Rags To Riches LLCDriver Jeremy Inhoff15 Days.
They know where the drug came from. An employee was participating in a methadone program legally. the commission was aware that this employee was on methadone but did not inform his employer. The commission not only failed to inform the employer, they failed to instruct the employee on safety measures that would prevent contaminating horses. (wearing gloves etc.). If these are the facts, and i believe they are, the commission should be reviewing it's policies and procedures with known drug addicts. At least educate the addict on how to prevent contamination. Might be a violation of privacy laws to inform the employer.
........AND SAID 3 HAIL MARY'S
They stick up for there own, it's like incest there. Outsiders beware. I guess the groom didn't wash his hands after he took his drug, in the paddock? This is such bullshit
You can't possibly believe this! So it happened to multiple Meadows trainers this year?
Two trainers in the same barn with the same employee to be accurate! Ask the commission if you don't believe me. I got my information from a very reliable source.
