This creates another issue. There were Buckeye stake races scheduled to race later in the program. When do you race them to fit into a schedule and a point system is involved. I'm thinking Northfield made a quick decision without thinking this through. Strictly a PR move cancelling the rest of the card. A lot of people hauled horses a long way to race.

Northfield, OH – The canceled Buckeye Stallion Series races from Monday night’s (July 11) program at MGM Northfield Park will be contested on Wednesday (July 13) at 4:00 p.m.
After consultation with the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association, the five remaining races will be contested as non-wagering events prior to Wednesday night’s program. Post positions will remain the same and horses that were scratched prior to the cancellation will remain scratched.
The live racing program will follow the non-wagering races at 6:00 p.m.
