 While it's true--every Industry dealing with animals has a few bad apples--it's wrong to ban an entire industry just because of the actions of these wrongdoers.
I for one like seeing horses running around parks-people enjoy it and if the horses are well treated-its a win-win.
Animal rights activists want to ban anything to do with humans interacting with animals--ie everyone goes vegan.
They would ban the Amish from using horses for transport or work. No horses in the Olympics .no horse racing.no zoos, etc
However, if the carriage Industry is a shit show, then yes, they only have themselves to blame, and the horses are better off put out to Pasture.
