Rick Laframboise died in a Car Crash
Inherit the Crown was owned by the Barsuk family and did race in Batavia
Paul Szalay wasnt a bad guy, served our country, had some demons
Katchme Hanover was an open Mare trained by Phillipe Laframboise
James Compton trained and usually drove Held for Ransom
Head Held High was a Buffalo Horse, I believe trained by Gene Neamon could be wrong
Batavia is a shell of what it was just a year ago. Handle is down, making it even harder to bet, food not nearly as
good as the old buffet used to be. Todd the previous GM was very fan friendly, Hoover looks drunk all the time and
loves himself. The announcer they got from Buffalo is a want to be announcer--Copies the styles of the great announcers
of the past but his projection and voice are annoying at best. Too many races are won by horses that are 3 seconds the best. Bring me back
to the 70's and 80's. I loved both Buffalo and Batavia.

I vaguely remember wee jimmy, but Im not sure who was the trainer/driver. For some reason I thought
Tom Agosti or Fred Griffin had something to do with him, but im very unsure. How about lake shore dolly
one of my all time favorites. Gaston Guindon was the usual pilot.

I remember when Bethlehem Steel plant was open and there were double headers and full fields, The GM at the time actually cared about racing at Buffalo, now they have a pervert as a GM that single handily ruined the place. When Mango dies horsemen will come from miles around to piss and shit on his grave!
