USTA Closed on Veterans Day
« on: November 10, 2022, 05:49:25 PM »
I'm all for Veterans Day be3ing a National Holiday.  It has far better justification than plenty of days currently recognized.  BUT, it's not.  Banks are open, city and state office are open .. what's not open?  USTA.  Taking advantage w/o Basis.

Sad how little respect our vets get, everything should be closed I applaud the U for showing respect our vets have earned. If they close to Martin Luther day  why not vets day.

I agree we should honor our Vets more. I cannot understand how business acknowledge Martin Luther King day but not Veteran's day. This day is all about our many Veterans who have sacrificed their lives, time with their family and friends for our freedom, and businesses make them, their families, loved ones work on this day. How disgusting!!
