More questionable in a industry where average ROI is under 15%. If it was a loan Grant has too much money where he could have found a better place to find a return on his money. Problem with horse racing even when there are returns on an investment people don't want to pay the taxes and buy even more horses causing an eventually ponzi scheme since they are just an animal and not a machine. I suppose you get access to the illegal drugs or that red acid then you can cheat your way. Inside of faking it to you make it, cheat at it until caught.

The Statement of Claim

It is more mortgage fraud than a loan.   Steve Heimbecker owns a MIC (Mortgage Investnment Company) and Brad Grant has a ton of money, it was a perfect match.  It sounds like Heimbecker isn't the most honest guys, if Grants claim is real.  I own a very sucessful MIC as well and I can't afford millions on a hobby.
