god knows it cant hurt
lets hope he brings some real honest analysis and critiques some questionable drives
give us some inside  thoughts on specifics, horses moving up and down etc
i assume he will be partnered with someone for the first while
should be interesting

Fox - America Day at the Races --- the handicappers and jockeys do a good job of being honest and will call out mistakes as they see them.

Hopefully they have a real studio for them. When Scott Zeron was broadcasting, it sounded like they were doing from a 4 cylinder block wall tack room with the sound bouncing all over the place. If was some good conversation, but if you want to do it right, make it look and sound right.

waples does not like jamieson personally and has given some subtle backhand comments regarding his driving a few times...

jamieson's driving lately makes it quite easy to make the negative comments...wow has this guy gotten bad

recently ???
jamieson has been brutal for years
lets see if stockade seelster goes south next year ( which i assume) if jj gets any drives
any reasonable owner/trainer would tell him he's done
will depend who the big usa drivers are committed to

Too bad it wasn’t possible to replace Monique with Dougie Donuts! Realistically, replacing her with an empty chair is an upgrade.

They need to do more to get the fans involved, have weekly segments with others providing insights & analysis (gamblers) discussing trip scenarios, equipment changes, horses locked & loaded the week before etc.

agreed, actually very poor compared to tbreds
watch a simulcast and show from gulfstream , they have 2 or 3 people that really know their shit and provide insightful comments
what a novel thought rather than  just waiting the 20 minutes between races and providing 3 minutes of analysis
to be fair most harness tracks are horrendous but you expect more from mohawk

The Fox Sports Team for the NY Thoroughbred circuit are great. Learned alot the runners, and man the breeding can make a huge difference. the paddock reports on how their weight and muscling or energy levels is recorded from start to start.
