40 years going to Freehold. Embarrassed I am a big better . 100 straight exacta 1-2. $10 number picking up 500. My buddy says inquiry. 10 minutes they take the 1 down Kubi Erzine taken down. Backed down 2nd qtr as they all do Beckwith in 2 hole. Down he comes 4 length win. I call judges. Told to call in Tuesday. Embarrassed for the sport. My bad for betting Freehold. You just lost another. Please watch replay and call freehold. Not fair to public they don't like Erzine

god forbid the driver gives the horse the best chance to win. if someone is going too slow up front, pull and make a move. it is such a judgment call... slowing down the pace a little smart, slow down a little more down you come. just seems it is penalizing a smart drive too the benefit of all the other drivers who let it happen. Good luck holding your breath and looking for an example of this with the runners--don't beleive anyone has ever been DQed for setting a measured pace.

Unless a driver take such a strong and sudden hold that he causes interference I think they should let the races be run. Didn't see that at all here---and if it such an egregiously slow quarter why were half the horse completely out of the picture for most of the race? Qtrs 28 3/5 31 2/5 28 1/5, 30. Was that really so terrible? Every horse in that race had an opportunity to make a challenge- the field was spread out from here to China almost right from the start.

Didn't bet the race but geez louise I would be pissed if I did have the 1.

Should have been a no call, this happens in half the races on a half mile track. The judges have a lot of suspicious calls.

Unfortunately I bet Freehold every Saturday. I take my lumps. This was a joke. Almost like a 3rd and long pass interference that didn't happen.

i agree that making that call on that specific race made no sense, you will see a similar race in 50%  of the races on 1/2 mile tracks
but on a broader scale i will say that clearly the horse in the 2 hole was bothered after the 1/4
it was not that long ago we saw similar and the horse in the 2 hole ended up creating a bad accident when the driver could not control him
remember these are not the most sound horses or the best drivers at freehold
also note the difference between the first and second qtr was almost 15 lengths, that's a bit extreme in my books and you are looking for trouble

 A complete disgrace..what about the 5th race , same 28.3 first quarter..and 32.2 second quarter a full second slower...much more confusion..total bullshit..the gambler gets fucked again.besides that, it looked like Beckwith ran up on kubi..no consistency on judges part..something needs to be done.but nothing will change..a complete disgrace..

5th race no comparison. The horses weren't jammed up like they were in the Erzine race. He put the absolute breaks on. Even the 5th horse on the rail had to check up. Sorry, you lost your bet, but he has to learn he can't drive like that. He hopefully learned a lesson.

I hear you---Freehold Judges play favorites--like many other tracks--and it has to stop.
If a driver screws up--the Judges should FINE THE DRIVER AND GIVE HIM DAYS--and if he repeats the same offense--then this increases.
Its ASININE that you lost your bet---that is what is wrong with this picture.The driver should be punished not the owners and the bettors as well.
The exact same thing that happened to you--happened to me with HOLLAND at Yonkers--they took him down for going too slow second 1/4 and I lost my bet.
Then Brennan did the EXACT same thing next day--crickets.
