Catch drivers owning horses...
« on: January 31, 2023, 07:20:37 PM »
Seems a little shady especially in the claiming ranks.  Also, makes eat easily known who has an edge. Timmy and Yannick have owned horse forever, but now I see Kakaley buying horses with Travis Alexander.  No top catch driver is buying horses with trainers not racing on full tanks!  tmbz1

good point
drivers should not own horses while actively driving  ... period
and no putting them under numbered companies or family members
its just a bad look for the sport
do it once you retire
top guys make more than decent cash

A lot of "clean" trainers/barns making him look like a hypocrite!

Was wondering the same thing. The touchy-feely winner circle encounters would suggest Joe has to be boning her.

Gural needs no assistance to look like a fool.

He is a close personal friend of SCM.  SCM thinks the BigM is the local food bank.  tmbz1

Another 3 winners for Alexander at M1 last night.  Congrats to Travis and Jeff for cleaning up the game! You must be very proud.  I'm sure SCM is cheering you guys on!

Palone's owned horses for years, never in his name. In  the day he owned multiple horses in races.

I don't see a problem with a catch driver owning horses.

Since Gural took over and decided to race his own horses in a fifedom, he's made the large majority of the industry hate him, he lost all of his import simulcast business and is forced to beg the state for welfare because his business decisions made the place a failure
