Mr. Merriman was unprofessional and rude towards the State Veterinarian in the Test Barn
after race 5 on 5/3/23. His use of profanity and hostile behavior were against the best
interest of racing. He is hereby fined $1000 and suspended from the State Test Barn for 30
days. The penalty will be reduced to a fine of $500 and 30 days suspension from the State
Test Barn if not appealed.

1) How old is he ? Still has some fire in him

2) Appealed it --- If he didn't appeal it would have been reduced from a $1000 to $500,,, will he win his appeal ?? Stay tuned.
