From personal experiences anytime i was offered $$ that returned my investment or a small profit and i said no, i was always sorry afterwards..

You and me three. Anytime you have a profit- take it and run. There will always be another horse coming along. Way too risky.

For CHRIST'S sake. Hoon owns a $100.00 in the fuckin pony. He gets updates on trainin,a WINNERS circle picture if the horse wins (and he has to pay for that), and like he say's,if he at track and pony should win,he gets to go into WINNERS CIRCLE. LA DE DA.

On that video he says Sylvain Fillion suggested he turn him out for a bit, He's got a lot of growing and maturing to do which will only serve him well.  He should win a few races now but turning him out and letting him grow will only serve him well IMO. AMAC had told Fillion that he was almost certain to break stride a few minutes before they raced, and he teased AMAC and said I thought he was going to break. Apparently, he was running all over the place warming up and acting like a goof. Said he took the snake cord off and he was perfect trailing the leader and that is what impressed him was that he relaxes on a helmet.

Like i said, I wouldn't sell him for triple or double. He's going to be good, and I am sure you will get more enjoyment for the minimal investment than watching him win races and still wishing you had him.  To me it's like gambling, be prepared to lose and anything is a bonus.

Give.me the quick profit, especially if it’s double my money. Very hard to do that in today’s game. They all look good early. If you take the cash you can still enjoy watching and rooting for him and it’s an extra bonus because your partner I’m sure is a friend and you want to see him/her do well. It’s win-win in my opinion regardless of the outcome. Give me the sure money.

for some reason filion took a keen interest in this particular horse and decided to give amac some unsolicited advice... ok
and  for some reason amac who typically wants the 2 yr old wired and ready to go now decides to turn horse out and bring back at three just because he could be good... ok

He can't go with Jersey breds at this time Anthony says. 
If he races, he's going to be in condition races.  Not something you see a 2 year old do for an extended time.

I can see both sides of the coin

--owners have been paying bills and he's in racing condition and sound

--on the other side, He truly believes he can mature and be a major player as a 3 year, doesn't want him to get sore then turn him out.

All depends on your financial situation.  I had a decent 2 year old, raced him easy and turned him out.  Came back great, after 3 races I was offered what would have been a big , big profit as he was a $12,000 yearling  . That was a long time ago. I asked my accountant for advice.   I still remember his advice.   
“You like to race horses, you might as well race a good one”.   He went on and made over $300,000.     
On the other side , I had a 3 year old that had made $75,000 and sold him for $50,000 at the end of his stake races as my trainer suggested.  He broke a bone at 7 only after putting over $900,000 on his card. 
When you sell a horse hope he goes on. The buyer will be back.
