I still think he's better than Confederate just because he is more handy and not a trip horse. If the fractions don't work out for Confederate he's no good.
They are close but since Its My Show skipped one of the biggest events of the year, I would like to see Confederate beat him every time the race against each other.
Confederate is a trip horse? In what galaxy? Last week in the MP he came with a ferocious brush and crush first over last half sub 1:52 on cruise controle - Timmy says he has pone more gear in him. Pepsi NAP final he had a miserable trip . Stacked up 3rd over in a dead flow. Timmy (finally) tanked the right lane with zero momentum. Confederate hit a gear, was airborne deep stretch and missed by 2 strides ( head ) to Scottie who got everything his own way once he assumed command. Confederate came home in like 25.2Cponfederate is an absolute gorilla under Pelling and gorillas are NOT trip horses.
Why is he stacked up 3rd over? Why is he 1st up? BECAUSE he has Zero gate speed and is a TRIP horse. Put that thing on front and roll down the highway one time and I'll change my tune.

I'll lay 20/1 against anyone that wants to take it that Confederate will not race in the Jug. He won't see a 1/2 or likely a 5/8 the rest of the year.
