Art Official ended up as an aged gelding racing 4,000 claimers at Monticello 2012 2013   same trainer/owner   look it up
over 80 percent of his lifetime earnings came via that race

Sorry dude but Art Official was a stud (not very successful) not a gelding whose last race was in 2009 against the likes of Mr Big and Shadow Play.  He also earned over 2 million so most of it wasn't in that one race

I beat Art Official 2 times with a 4k claimer at Monticello late 2012. I have the programs. I would prefer not to identify my horse. But it happened. He had been gelded and was racing at 7

Yes, he had 1.8 miilion earned by November 2012   I remember people questioning and criticizing the owner of such a horse for racing him at that level and not just retiring him to a life that he so well earned.

WESTBURY, L.I., July 30, 1977—Kash Minbar, a moody 5‐year‐old trotter bred in New York, went the fastest mile and a half in the history of harness racing at Roosevelt Raceway tonight.

This son of Egyptian Canor broke stride in last week's Roosevelt International as one of the American representatives but tonight was timed in 3:01 3/5 as he won the $50,000 Challenge Cup Trot by 2 3/4 lengths. The clocking was the fastest for a trotter or a pacer at the distance.

Kash Minbars time erased Dream of Glory's previous world trotting standard of 3:05 2/5, set July 17, 1976, at Roosevelt in the Challenge Cup. The fastest time by a pacer for 12 furlongs is 3:01 4/5, by Irving Liverman's Handle With Care at Yonkers Raceway last year.

Delfo, who won last week's $200,000 International at 10‐1 odds for Italy, finished second, 5 1/2 lengths ahead of France's Bellino II in the field of eight. The 8‐5 choice, Keystone Pioneer, also representing the United States, was fourth, a neck away from Bellino. Dick DeSantis handled Keystone Pioneer for Silly Naughton, who was driving at Vernon Downs.

Earl Cruise, 24‐year‐old son of one of harness racing's top horsemen, Jimmy Cruise, and one of the winner's owners, drove Kash Minbar to his record triumph.

The winner returned $11 for $2 to win as the fourth choice.

I wasn't there so I can't argue with your facts what I can say is that the Xpress bet replay platform does not show any races for him past the Red Mile one in 2009.

As for when he was gelded I can show you names of some of his offspring that were born as late as 2019.   So either there was frozen semen kept for many years or we live in some kind of weird universe where you can do two things at the same time.

Great tidbit   My Mother loved Kash Minbar   I can picture this race in my mind like it was yesterday.

first time i really enjoyed harness race
was being rewarded for playing show pool.
'89 canadian pacing derby greenwood toronto

overbet show pool for heavyhitter Matts Scooter...who ended tight fourth giving big show payoffs for others including winner CAMTASTIC Tommy Harmer and runner ups TAKE A LOOK and RUNNYMEDE LOBELL.
dont have payoffs here,,but overly generous show payouts because of Matts show miss.

underrated John Krake w the call

My apologies to all. After an exhaustive search I found programs from 11 years ago at Monti and I am embarrassed to say that I was terribly wrong and sounded like a fool. The horse I was referring to that my 4k claimer beat regularly was NOT Art Official, it WAS Art Afficianado.

I did have the age and gender correct, but that doesnt count for shit.

60 and losing it, I guess.

Mea Culpa, mea culpa

Hope I still have some credibility on here.......

No problem, you still know more about stuff than most of us put together.  You're entitled to forget shit like we all do.   I have to rely on search engines or old links to databases otherwise I can't remember anything either.
