Clint’s brother (I think) Don Galbraith drove Niatross in his first start.
When he fell over the rail at Saratoga it was the first time he hit him hard with the whip and it spooked him and he jumped sideways.
He was definitely going to get beat that day. I never knew he was sick that day. He was a great horse and also Call for Rain was a great horse.
There was a guy named Cleo Hughs from Boonville NY he was just like Clint. He had a farm in Boonville and had a ton of horses there. Some were three, four, five years old and never broke. They were all pretty good horses for home breds. They were all named something Harhu I think one was Polyharhu or something like that.
Any one ever knew Forrest Gerry JR. or Harold Story
I knew Larry Battaglia great guy good person. My dad was one of Harolds best friends we spent many weekends with him at Green Mountain.
