A Little Diversion for Fun
« on: September 18, 2023, 05:45:14 PM »
NFL point spread…So I have a buddy who has told me for years the NFL is a big cheating casino. He says they bet the spreads not the game so to speak. Well I always told him he’s nuts but yesterday got me thinking. Did anyone see the end of the Rams vs 49ers game? The 49ers were a 7.5 point fav. With 1 second left in the game the score is 30-20 49ers. The Rams can’t win however they are in the 49ers zone. So instead of just taking a knee and a loss the coach sends out the field goal guys and they make it. Final score 30-23 and everyone who had the 49ers puked, committed suicide or tried to kill the Rams coach. If I watched another 500 NFL games this never will happen again. I was listening to the radio and some Vegas was being interviewed laughing about what happened and how the casino won a lot of money on this move. Apparently many more bets were on the 49ers to cover the 7.5 points than on the Rams. I called my buddy and of course he laughingly said, “I told you so!” Anyone care to comment?

Only comment I will make is that there may be a "line" on the game such as 7.5 that most people will say is the line, as you must know prices can vary greatly on a game. there must have been some 7s or 6.5s out there at various bookmakers, sports betting parlors and of course, the illegals. All depends what the house is holding or needs to lay off. When i was into that stuff there were also different lines based on what kind of a bettor you were. For example we had a line, but then we also has a "dime line" for guys that bet 1k or more -p they often got a better "price". If you bet sports now, you are crazy. If you go in thinking from the outset, it's rigged, you will make yourself even crazier.

Ha Gaagoots  ;D I said this was a little diversion from the norm. Plus I know a lot of Ploppers bet sports and can feel the empathy for those who get screwed. And let’s face it plop.com is for harness junkies with little else going on in the other categories. Didn’t you find my story a little bit entertaining? As far as SCM.. After reading about SCM ad nauseam  I rather read about that pig from Colorado hoping she buys more tickets to Beetlejuice when it comes to D.C.Brobert puts on some show herself and she loves to get “tickled” when she thinks no one is looking. Ha now millions have seen her in action this past weekend.

Almost like that piss catcher at the meadowlands around 1980 with the short blonde hair! The state vet Barbara (who I also wanted to fuck) caught me fucking her in the piss stall after the races.
