Saw him over the weekend and seems to be doing pretty damn well. And still does more than anyone ever has finishing people everyone else is too scared to deal with. Face it he got the USTA to revoke Hiteman. You dont know how to free a cast horse yet say a lot about what you dont know.

I did. And see you would grab a horse by the halter to pull it away from a wall not the tail? You must believe Hiteman in saying she was sitting on it.too.  ngc3

! I didn't hear his quote, not sure about that part. 50 years around horses, never encountered one "sitting on their tale" 2 YES I WOULD. I have rescued many horses simply spinning them from the head. Often they end up parallel against the boards, ass in the corner, head more accesible. easier to "spin em on the ribs' that way. Worked for me. Btw, they also seem to be calmer and comprehend what you are trying to do for them when you start with the head.

So you are commenting on an event that you haven t seen or heard what was said. And now you are quoting youtube vids. Watch the video and tell us what would happen pulling her neck backwards. Remember she was wearing a bridle to nitwit. What an ignoramous.

Correct. A horse's head is their center of gravity. When lying down the first thing they do is raise their head to get up. I was taught you start with their head because that is their point of balance.  There's no way a horse can get to their feet without raising their head.

I'm just commenting on the accuracy of Fug's statement. I'm not commenting on the circumstances of this unfortunate event.

Center of gravity isnt their head. Where we have the most leverage is. That'd why we keep them down holding the head down. But pulling this filly backwards by the head which is the topic is stupid Hiteman knew he had no out when he lied about her sitting on her tail knowing that is what he should have been grabbing not beating her. Fug is fuggin clueless.

Appreciate your support, Jidge. 2 things  I also said that I was simply commenting on procedure if the horse was cast also, i acknowledged that it is very difficult to ascertain exactly what is going on here and if it simply a beating for the sake of it, it is cruel and despicable   other thing is when someone comes on here with put downs and name calling, it is very hard to take them seriously and while I would like to respond in kind, i think the high road is best.  Dont know if IgnoranceIsBliss is mike P, but the tone and language and delivery sure seem like him
