I think you're considered a KY trainer if more then a % of your starts are in KY.
50-60% I do believe but not 100% on that.

Disqualified if you have all of your original teeth, no tattoos, and don’t live in a trailer.

Hey, I raced at Bluegrass downs some 20+ years ago. You guys are not far off. Now, they come from all over with dual eligibility. Many come for the EC and overnights, as well.

Blue Grass Downs in Paducah. Went there once. Win handles were typically $10.00 . Yes I mean Ten Dollars.

Paducah downtown was a nice, interesting, place. I guess the merchants make their money from the river cruise ship stops.

Probably 20 years ago, me and another trainer thought for something different, to take four down to Thunder Ridge and was going to have a young driver from Scioto come down and drive. Called to enter, and were asked if we are on the approved list !! ??

The approved list came about from the boys meeting on Thursday morning for doughnut and coffee and then telling the race office whether or not to accept outside entries..... We were not approved   ngc3
