The slot parlor opened in Newburgh by the closing of slots at Monticello Raceway has not lived up to expectations. They are doing about 1/2 of the projection. thus, keeping purses in check.

I served on a jury in Newburgh. Needed a police escort to get from the courthouse parking lot into the courthouse....com ing and going, every day.

Do they provide police escorts to patrons going to the casino. Newburgh ( i believe) was once voted worst crime ridden city in the country.

A slot parlor on the outskirts of Newburgh. Another bright idea of gambling glut morons. NOBODY from outside of Orange county is driving to this hole in the wall to throw away money in slot machines. At half the projections the place will be gone inside of another 2 years at most.
