Very few lower level horses in this year's sale. Like Seattle said, mostly top barn sellers looking to replenish their pockets. Better bring a thick wallet if you're going.
Yeah i saw that. Certainly wouldn't expect any at the level I was talking about from like 35 years ago.. lol
I knew a guy in the late 70's ,who would load up a small squirt gun with some clear "blister" and go to the Delaware sale early,and spritz a knee,hock or ankle on his selections. One time he got 5 horses qualified and racing with $3,500!
Never seen a better group of racehorses in a mixed sale and there are at least 50 others who won $50,000+ this past year.
