Urbanewicz and Sowers cooling off.

Tommy Merton tries helping his brother leaving with the no shot 7 and at 37-1 helping the 6.

BTW  once a crook always a crook. Right Tommy?  He is dead most races. Yet because he is a Merton he gets bet.

race 2
based on double payoffs being so low on the 4  ---   1/2 is not a bad win price.... but probably will go to 1-5 once the gates swing.

Race 7 -- looking at video -- give me the #4 currently at 5-1 with 0 minutes to post for the last 8 minutes.

Race was weird. Jim Tagger gets off his brother Shanes horse #3 which he rarely does to ride the 2 who finished second.
Of course the horse he chose off #3 win for fun.

Late driver change on the 7 gets third at 43-1 and pays $17 to show.

at the half -- Merton on the 8, parked 3 wide in the first turn and turned the whip at the half chasing Aldrich were engaging in a conversation. Probably talking about the Middle East Crisis.

Then factor in the two favorites run going to the three quarter pole === that was a whole bunch of mess.

Question who has more people watching live ?

Monticello ?
or
Cumberland KY - which had 5 people out on the far turn terrace by the casino + 6 on the straightaway ( no grandstand at Cumberland )

Neither could spell Israel if you gave them 10 tries each.
