It’s regumateSomeone probably accidentally gave it to the wrong horsePretty hard to mess that up , but when you have so many horses, oh wellProvides ZERO performance enhancement to a gelding and does literally nothing for all the horseplop expert trainers and veterinarians out there
It's been used on geldings for a long time. Here is a quote from this forum three years ago concerning itMost of us use Regumate on our mares and in the middle of last year, several people were fined for progesterone (from Regumate) at the Meadows. They are calling it when it is discovered in Geldings or Horses because it is known to have a calming effect.
Gotcha. Yeah, I never fooled with progesterone in male horses. Calming is a nice way of saying it made them dull and I wasn't interested in doing that.
That is Dantrolene sodium and used for treating tie upMost places I dealt with have 72hr rule on that
WRONG: Dilantin and dantrolene both begin with a D… that’s it lol. Check your facts.
Used it lots on sour geldings. It seemed to make them happier. Especially if the came out a barn that used lots of Winstol and Equipoise.
Altrenogest:synthetic progestin, is used extensively in the reproductive management of mares to control the reproductive cycle, help maintain pregnancy, and help with behavior modification. So why are you allowing this to be used on a gelding? What can it do for a colt?
beg to differ. Had quite a few we used equipoise on the geldings and - it could light one up.
